Again, let me introduce my ultimate bias: Lee Jinki or Onew by his stage name. He is South Korean, he works in the kpop industry and YES if his job needs it, he wears makeup.

And what happens if he wears makeup?

As a huge Shawol & MVP for me, it's natural to like him. But to answer the question, it's so easy to accept him. Maybe here in Europe it's not so popular (yet) when men wear makeup, but if you know this "kpop industry thing", you can understand it.

Also I think it "helped" a lot, in my life until i got into kpop, nobody accepted my real me. That real me who had to hid in the deepest point of my heart. To tell the truth, i never gave any chance to anybody to know that part of me. The reason? I know people would laugh at me. Actually mom didn't liked it when I started to watch animes, that's why i though it's better to stay quiet.











So I know how it feels when you hate on somebody just because (s)he is not like the others. I don't want to hate. Especially not for tiny reasons. I know very well how he looks like without makeup, and still he's really really handsome for me.

FYI: if he's not on stage or you don't watch promotional photos, you won't find a single gram powder on him.
                 




His voice is perfect, you can't deny. If he & SHINee wouldn't exist I still wouldn't know what to do with my life. I would be stuck at animes & a dream world... But now I have stronger, more determined plans.
He is funny, clever, gentle,dorky,and really hardworking, the person you wish you could have...He can laugh at his mistakes, smile when he would like to cry. I really would like a friend like him.

The only thing I ask: please don't judge kpop by its cover. Nor a photo. If you are like "I like/hate kpop cos Gangam style is good/males are wearing makeup" better to stay quiet. How would you feel when somebody who just met you would tell you, you're ugly? Just know a little bit more about him, then you can criticize.
