Whoop whoop i'm back with many many stories to tell! (:

      As you could see in my last post, I've been trough many happy days in the last week. I can't remember if i mentioned it or not, but for 6 days about 17 Finnish student + 2 teacher possessed our little town. :)
To accommodate them, we had to "adopt" one (or two) of the guests and host them for the time 'til they're here.

AND I SWEAR WHEN I DECIDED TO HOST ONE, IT WAS MY BESTESTEST IDEA OF ALL TIME!

So, yes we hosted one of them. The first time maybe mom was a little scared how will we solve this but as it turned out there was no need to worry that much... :)

As we got the situation more & more clearer everybody got to knew who will be her/his "child". We only picked by names, so i randomly picked Sampo. All i know about him was his age and email address.
How safe it is to host a complete stranger at your house... Pardon me. Somehow it never crossed my mind.

So with lots and lots of courage & curiosity i contacted him with a waysointeresting email. The other day the response came and *drums* the conclusion i had: he'll be the perfect guest for me. He answered regardly, i couldn't feel that idontwannatalktoyou feeling and the most important, he is interested in Korea. Okay, not the same way as me BUT HELL YES! he won't be like the others who make faces like o.O  when they hear i wanna learn Asian languages.  -___-

I sent him some more mails & then the big day came. We were totally excited in the morning & @1pm & @2pm & @3pm aaandd... as we got closer to the arrival, we got more and more nervous & then somebody told us they are here.


WHUTT?? We thought they were pranking, but as we know it was true we were like "omgnononowedon'twantthissogohome".

But there was no way to get back so they came, we checked them out, headmaster held a short welcome speech & then we had the roll call. Everybody was even more nervous, as we had a stranger next to ourselves, we didn't know what to say, so we just stood next to each other. *awkward*



On the way home we already had a chat, then dinner, during it more chat & at the end of the arrival's day, we had the basic information from each other.

      Personally I think this is the hardest part of the whole thing: you have to get use to the situation and make friends with your guest as quickly as you can, but after you solved this, you made it. (:

  By the end of the first day we still had that "okay we're strangers" feeling but i think the relationship between us was waaaay more "easy going" than the arrival's day.

   Then in the upcoming days we had so much fun together: went to play football, visited many places together, took a trip in the forest, had a 'family day',Gangam styled ourselves, even had an 'indoor barbecue party' and a big dinner at Anyukám mondta.



As we spent the whole day together we really got to know a lot about each other, also talked and laughed so much. :)

  Also we taught them as many words as we could :D [ and they tried to do the same.. x3]

  Then...we woke up & the last day already arrived.

I think there's no need to say that we were really really sad. We already cried at the dinner at the restaurant. But that morning it was even more horrible. I think I can say in the name of everybody (especially the girls) we felt like the half of our heart would be torn out & sent to Finland.

It was only 6 days time & these 16 cutie boys & that one sweet girl attached to our heart really really strongly. We really didn't want them to leave.

That so much fun & laughter we shared...is way too much for just let them go.

Before they got on the bus everybody hugged everybody as strong as we could.

  As Risto said at the dinner: "We feel/have the soul relationship."

Unfortunately we had to let them go, but the story doesn't ends here.

     Next time we will go to Finland, it's true we have to wait a little more ('til August or September i'm not sure) but we will go so we can hug them again & have even more fun than we had this time. (:

 

       And of course what's the use of FB  if not to keep in touch & thake care of this strong friendship? :D
