Okay. I can't bear it anymore.
You know I'm 17 (almost 18) & it WOULD be my last year in high school, IF i had chosen the 'normal system' BUT since I'm on a 5-year-long course (
BUT that doesn't mean I can sit comfortably, with my legs on the table & do nothing. I guess I've mentioned many times but I'll tell again this is the last time to show off what we know in grades. It's not like we won't have tests next year (
In principle, we started this year as we have some ideas which university do we want to choose. I thought too. To Be Honest now I don't think so...
I think I've also mentioned before, I want to be a PR manager. The problem is now, when I'd need it, it got 'blacklisted'. I mean I'd be able to learn it however I would have to pay for it. But I'm not the PM's daughter, neither my dad is a CEO so I'm not able to pay the price.
It became blacklisted because even you get the degree, you won't be able to find a job in Hungary. That is what annoys me the most. I don't want to work in Hungary, but to get a degree & some experiences I'd really need a place where I'm able to learn it.
I checked out another school's page, which offers the same, just in a shorter course.
You know there are different words for the degree in English. There is the degree what you get after finishing uni, and there is the diploma, what you get after finishing a course.
I'd get a diploma if I'd learn at that school, but I'm not sure if it'd be enough for the companies. However it's really advantageous: the prices are waaaayyy lower than at the university & I'd be able to pay for it easily if I'd find a job. Also I'd be even able to sign up for a language course so -as I want to move to Korea- I could learn Korean and Japanese as well. Sounds amazing!
But things are never ever easy, because there's mom who really wants me to get to uni. The only problem is I cannot imagine where to study. I wanted to go to a Japanese majored uni (cause I'm also really interested in it) but the points are getting higher and higher and mom counted it, I'm not lying if I say I have to write nearly 100% tests on my final exam. Which sounds almost impossible.
We can get extra points for language exams, or for - I can't really find a word for it in English,we call it- 'higher level final exams'. But now you must have at least one higher level exam, so to get extra points I should do another higher exam. Okay, it could be solved. However we can't 'play' with the language exams, 'cause before you got points both for the advanced, and the mid-level one, so you had about 50 points, but now even if you do both exams you can't get only 40 points, when the maximum would be 50. So you have to do another language exam from a different language.
If you still understand the system you must be very clever, also I'm happy 'cos I could write it down in an understandable way. :D But as you can see the whole education system is a complete mess, and it's just getting more and more messier.
No wonder why people choose the option to simply go abroad and find a job there. Because that's also an option. And at a point it's more secure than staying here and learning something you don't want, or you like but you won't be able to get a single penny for.
The strange is if you born a baby you get more points than I'd learn my ass out and do every kind of things. -.- Fantastic.
But for now I'm looking forward to the next talk about it with mom. It will be awesome...!
