To sum up the book: Lying, pretending & ass licking.
Cruel, but that's what it is about. There are 2 girls (the shy, unlucky but kind and the asshole, lucky bitch) whose life is shown in the book.
I found myself realizing that this novel can be implied to today's society so well, that it's a shame.
If you think about it, it's always like this: there's a total arshole who gets everything she wants, whereas she's not willing to bend even her little finger and there's you. You probably work your heart out and do every kind of extras but you still get nothing or barely anything.
This is how today's society works. Sadly.
At least at the beginning.
As you keep reading the book (prepare, i'll spoil it) the evil one gets what she deserves, while the good one...well, also gets what she deserves, finally.
I believe if you keep working hard, the curse -or whatever- will break. Because you know lies and pretence cannot be kept up for ever.
That's why I would really like to recommend this book to those 'cool chicks' whose daily life consist of concentrating on money, misleading people with their fake personalities & 'friendships' and thinking continuously about 'the most important person of the world' (in their opinion) aka. about themselves.
Wake up girls, get real!
